A midtown pioneer and entrepreneur is once again making Atlantans thirsty to return to the city’s Crescent Avenue corridor thanks to his latest venture, Foxtrot Liquor Bar. Proving that “not all good things must come to an end,” Scott McCray has reinvented his former Cosmopolitan Lounge with long-time friend and business partner, Jim Sullivan, and together the duo have perfectly combined their panache for serving creative craft cocktails and small plates with a thoughtful twist for an “elevated pub” experience.
Foxtrot Liquor Bar is the completely reconceptualized and recently opened craft neighborhood cocktail bar located in the old Cosmopolitan space. It is high-end and low-key, or in other words, just right. Perfectly nestled amidst the ever-changing Midtown skyline, Foxtrot has the feel of a retro-country clubhouse and is on point with décor including tartan wallpaper, Houndstooth barstools, paisley details carved in the leather, brass rails and an alfresco (and weather proof) wooden deck. A DJ adds extra energy to the weekends and an extended out door patio with full bar offers the perfect space to indulge in a cigar, conversation, and a classic cocktail.
Foxtrot Liquor Bar offers two signature cocktails on tap: The House Bounce Old Fashioned, (a favorite of President George Washington, now that’s a classic) and the Smokey Negroni, for welcome. Among the offerings are outstanding beers (local taps, cans and bottles), wines by the glass, specialty housecraft cocktails, and house-made tonics, as well a fun take on a “beers and a shot”, where signature miniature cocktails are paired with the perfect craft brew.
Chef Matt Restagno prepares tasty small plates. A few crowd favorites are Herb Fries, Goat Cheese Fritters, Beef Sliders, Duck Confit Eggrolls, Warm Brussel Salad & Duck Toast.
Located at 45 13th Street (30309), at the corner of 13th Street and Peachtree Walk, Foxtrot Liquor Bar is open Tuesday through Saturday 5:00 pm until 2:00am (Fridays open 4:00 pm – “Happy Hour = Happy Office”). For more information email email@example.com or call 404-856-4266.
